On large inkjet printers, there are two components that require chip reset, one is ink and the other is a maintainer. They all operate in the same way.
Align the chip with the corresponding groove, so that the probe corresponds to the contact of the chip on the ink , and the two components are closely attached. If the red light is on, it means the contact is correct and good.
After about 5 seconds, the red light turns to green light, which means that the chip record has been refreshed.
The ink can be used when it is filled with new dye ink or /compatible ink.
