Indication

Treatment of bacterial & mycoplasmal pneumonia (Pasteurella, Bordetella, Actinobacillus, Haemophilus, Erysipelothrix, Mycoplasma spp.), colibacillosis & enteritis, skin & soft tissue infections in swine, fighting cocks & ruminants.

Dosage

Swine: Administer by deep IM injection in the neck area at 1 mL/20 kg BW for 3 days. Poultry/fighting cocks: 0.2 mL/head for 3 days by deep IM. Cattle: Inject 1 mL/20 kg BW by deep IM.

Contraindications

Not to be given in animals producing milk for human consumption & in young animals during periods of rapid growth.

Side effects

Generally low except for those sensitive to enrofloxacin. May cause arthropathies and cartilage erosions when given to dogs, cats and horses during periods of rapid growth (12-18 months in dogs, less than 8 weeks in cats).

Withdrawal

Swine: 10 days. Cattle: 14 days.
